Volume Converter
Volume Converter switches a value between litres, millilitres, US gallons and US cups, recalculating the moment you change the number or either unit.
How to use it
- Enter the value you want to convert
- Choose the unit to convert from and to
- Read the converted result instantly
The gallon and cup are the United States definitions — a US gallon is about 3.785 litres and a US cup about 237 millilitres — so results will not match UK imperial gallons or the 250 ml metric cup. Conversions pass through litres as a common base using fixed factors, and the answer is shown to four decimal places, which is a display rounding rather than the full-precision value. It is built for everyday cooking, container and fuel figures, not for laboratory or trade measurement, and it does not offer cubic metres, fluid ounces, pints or quarts. Everything is computed in the page and the numbers you enter are not sent anywhere.
