2. Data processed when you use Tooliba

• Tool inputs and files: in-house browser tools are designed to process the content you provide locally in your browser whenever technically possible. Tooliba does not intentionally upload those files to its servers for processing unless a tool explicitly tells you otherwise before you use it.
• Consent preferences: your privacy choices are stored in your browser so the site can remember them. The record contains the consent categories you selected and the time of your choice.
• Technical data: hosting and security infrastructure may necessarily process limited connection data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/device information and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
• Messages you send us: if you contact Tooliba by email or through a future contact form, we process the information you provide in order to answer and manage the request.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide and secure the website and its tools — legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure service, and performance of requested services where applicable.
• Remember strictly necessary privacy choices — compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests in respecting your choices.
• Audience measurement and product analytics — consent where consent is required. Analytics tags are not loaded by Tooliba before analytics consent.
• Advertising and ad personalisation — consent where required. Advertising technologies are not loaded by Tooliba before advertising consent.
• Answer enquiries and exercise of privacy rights — steps taken at your request, legitimate interests in customer support, and compliance with legal obligations as applicable.

4. Analytics

Tooliba can use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate use of the site. GA4 is loaded only after analytics consent and only when it is configured in the production environment.

Tooliba's codebase also supports PostHog for product analytics, with automatic capture and session recording disabled. Tooliba's launch configuration is intended to keep PostHog disabled in production unless it is separately reviewed and enabled under the applicable consent settings.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

Tooliba may use Google AdSense to fund the service. When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and process information about your device and activity for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where you consent, personalisation.

For visitors covered by European consent requirements, Tooliba uses a Google-certified consent management mechanism for advertising choices. You can refuse non-essential purposes or change your choices later.

6. Cookies and local storage

Tooliba distinguishes strictly necessary, functional, analytics and advertising purposes. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are consent-gated. A local browser record is used to remember your consent decision.

7. Recipients and service providers

Personal data may be processed by providers that are necessary to operate Tooliba, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics and advertising providers, only for the relevant purpose and subject to their applicable contractual and legal safeguards. The active production provider list will be kept consistent with the services actually enabled on Tooliba.

8. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, Tooliba relies on an applicable transfer mechanism or safeguard required by data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, as appropriate to the provider and service concerned.

9. Retention

Tooliba keeps personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was processed and to meet applicable legal, security or dispute-resolution requirements. Browser-side tool inputs are not intentionally retained by Tooliba when the tool operates entirely on your device. Consent choices remain in your browser until they are replaced, cleared, or invalidated by a consent-schema change.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, object to certain processing, request portability where applicable, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. 11. Security

Tooliba applies technical and organisational measures intended to limit unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so these measures are reviewed as the service evolves.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Tooliba's services, providers or legal obligations change. The date shown at the top of the page indicates the latest revision.

13. Complaints

If you believe your data-protection rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In France, this is the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés).
