How to use it

It shows the camera make and model, the lens, the date and time a photo was taken, exposure settings, editing software, any author or copyright text, and GPS coordinates when the image carries them. A short "sensitive metadata detected" list highlights the fields that identify a person, a place or a device. Removal works by re-encoding the image on a canvas: a PNG stays lossless, while a JPEG or WebP is re-compressed at high quality, and the embedded colour profile is not kept. EXIF orientation is applied to the pixels first, so the cleaned image still displays the right way up. The image is read and re-encoded in your browser; it is not uploaded to Tooliba or to any server.

EXIF fields such as camera make and model, lens, exposure, ISO, aperture, focal length, orientation and the capture date; GPS coordinates from the EXIF GPS block; and, on a best-effort basis, XMP and IPTC fields such as creator, copyright, title, description and keywords. It also reports the embedded colour-profile name. Fields the image does not contain are simply not listed.
Yes. The cleaned copy contains no EXIF block at all, so the GPS latitude, longitude and altitude are gone along with every other tag. The "sensitive metadata detected" list tells you before removal whether the image carries a GPS location.
It depends on the format. Removal re-encodes the image: a PNG is rebuilt losslessly so the pixels are identical, while a JPEG or WebP is re-compressed at high quality, which can introduce a small change. The embedded colour profile (ICC) is not carried over, so a wide-gamut image may look slightly different on a wide-gamut screen.
JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 20 MB and about 40 megapixels once decoded. HEIC/HEIF photos from phones and camera RAW files are not supported, because browsers cannot reliably decode them for re-encoding.
No. The file is read with a JavaScript library in the page and re-encoded on a canvas in your browser. Nothing is sent to Tooliba or to a third-party service, and the file is not stored.
