Image Watermark Tool
Image Watermark Tool adds a visible text or image watermark to a local copy of a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, entirely in your browser.
Drop an image here (PNG, JPEG, WebP — max 20 MB)
How to use it
- Upload the main PNG, JPEG, or WebP image
- Choose Text or Image / logo, then set the text or upload a logo file
- Adjust the position, opacity, size and margin, and check the preview
- Click Apply watermark and download the result
Pick one mode at a time: a text watermark (your text, size as a percentage of the image width, opacity, color and a bold toggle) or an uploaded logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP, size as a percentage of the image width, opacity). Place it in one of seven positions — the four corners, the top, bottom and exact center — with a margin expressed as a percentage of the shorter side, and everything is converted to the image's own source pixels so the placement is consistent on any screen and pixel density. The preview and the export use exactly the same geometry, and text is drawn on a single line: if it is wider than the image minus its margins the tool warns you instead of silently cropping it. A logo keeps its native aspect ratio and is never stretched; if it is displayed larger than its own resolution the tool says so. The exported image keeps the source format and the exact original dimensions — it is not resized, cropped or compressed. JPEG and WebP are re-encoded by the browser, so EXIF, XMP or ICC metadata may be changed or dropped; this is a side effect of re-encoding, not a guaranteed privacy feature. This tool does not protect copyright, stop unauthorized reuse, or make a watermark permanent. Unlike Image Resizer (dimensions), Image Converter (file format), Image Cropper (keeping one region) or Image Compressor (file weight), this tool only overlays a visible mark. Nothing you load is uploaded or stored anywhere.
FAQ
Upload your image, choose the Text mode, and type the text. You then set its size as a percentage of the image width, its opacity, color, position and margin, and click Apply watermark to render a copy with the text drawn on it.
Yes. Switch to the Image / logo mode and upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo. It is decoded locally, keeps its native aspect ratio, and its size is set as a percentage of the main image width, with the same opacity, position and margin controls.
No. The export canvas uses the exact dimensions of the decoded image, so the result has the same width and height as the original. The tool does not resize, crop or compress — it only overlays the mark.
No. A visible watermark can discourage casual reuse and show attribution, but it does not protect copyright, prove ownership, or make itself impossible to crop or edit out. This tool makes no such claim.
No. Both the main image and the logo are decoded, composited and saved entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and analytics only records that the tool was used.
