Reads supported barcodes from images locally in your browser: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, ITF and Codabar. The image is decoded on your device and is never uploaded or stored. It shows the decoded value and format only — it does not look up a product, price, brand, or GS1 registration, and a decoded value is not a verified or authenticated barcode. QR codes are handled by the QR Code Reader, not here.
How to use it

- Read the decoded value and detected format for each barcode found
- Copy a value, or copy all values if several barcodes are detected
It reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, ITF, and Codabar. The image is decoded on your device with a bundled ZXing decoder; nothing is uploaded, and the file, the decoded value, and the result are never stored or sent anywhere. For each barcode it finds, the tool shows the decoded value and the detected format, and it can return more than one result when an image contains several stacked barcodes. It is a decoder only: it does not look up a product, price, brand, or GS1 registration, and a decoded value is not a verified or authenticated barcode. QR codes are not handled here — use the QR Code Reader for those. Whether a barcode is read depends on its type, the image quality, its size, and its orientation.

Yes, if the barcode is reasonably sharp, well lit, and not too small in the frame. Cropping closer to the barcode and increasing contrast improve the chance of a successful read.
The barcode may be blurred, low-contrast, too small, badly cropped, or of an unsupported type. A clear message with practical tips is shown; it never claims the image contains no barcode.
No. It only returns the digits or characters encoded in the barcode. It does not query any product database, price service, or GS1 registry, and it adds no brand or ownership information.
No. The image is decoded in your browser and the barcode is read on your device. The file, the decoded value, and the result are never sent to a server or saved.
